Block Island Day/Night Striped Bass

Looking to catch the biggest striped bass of your life? There’s no better place to do it than Block Island—the Striped Bass Capital of the World. Renowned as the #1 destination for monster stripers, Block Island offers thrilling fishing against a scenic backdrop.

Hop aboard the 29’ SeaVee for a high-speed cruise across Block Island Sound before fishing right under the Mohegan Bluffs or on the famous Southwest Ledge. We target trophy stripers using light tackle, drifting live eels, or casting topwater artificials. For day trips, you can also switch to bottom fishing for fluke and black sea bass, maximizing your time on the water.

Trips typically last 5–7 hours (AM or PM), with flexible timing—no strict schedules like all other charters.

Offshore Tuna- Rhode Island

These offshore adventures target bluefin and yellowfin tuna in some of the most productive waters of New England. We fish areas of concentrated “sea life” ranging 15-70 miles offshore, where whales (humpback, finback, minke), dolphins, seabirds, and schools of baitfish signal prime tuna territory.

The primary tactics on these trips are Jig & Pop—casting topwaters and vertical jigging for giant tuna. For anglers looking to learn the offshore tuna fishery, this is the perfect opportunity to pick up basics, tips, tricks, and insider techniques. It’s the most adrenaline-pumping fishery in the region, and once you’ve experienced it, you’ll be hooked for life.

Other tactics, including trolling and live bait fishing, are used when Jig & Pop opportunities aren’t present. In addition to tuna, these trips can also target mahi mahi, sharks, and white marlin, making for an unforgettable day on the water.

Giant Bluefin Tuna

Ever wonder what it’s like to catch a fish that can weigh over 1000 pounds? New England offers some of the best giant bluefin tuna fishing in the world, and in the past decade the population has flourished—giving us the opportunity to catch these giants on a regular basis. On average, the fish we see range from 300–700 lbs, with a few each season pushing close to or over 1,000 lbs.

The most common method is drifting live bait, typically a ~10 lb bluefish—seeing one of these get devoured is an experience you’ll never forget. Anglers can choose to fight these massive fish from the rod holder or go full-on stand-up in a harness, making it one of the most thrilling challenges in sportfishing today.

North East Canyons and Daytime Swordfish

If you’ve conquered inshore fishing and are ready to chip away at your bucket list, this is the trip for you. These adventures take you to the edge—literally! The Northeast Canyons are deep cracks along the North American continental shelf, dropping from 500 ft to over 4,000 ft. Where the warm, cobalt-blue waters of the Gulf Stream collide with the cool, nutrient-rich waters of the North Atlantic, life explodes—sea birds of every variety, large sea turtles, hundreds of whales and dolphins, manta rays, and even whale sharks can be spotted.

But the real excitement comes from the fish. The unique currents and temperature breaks create concentrated pockets of water that corral big gamefish. Here, you’ll troll, jig, or cast for yellowfin tuna, bigeye tuna, longfin albacore, bluefin tuna, white marlin, blue marlin, wahoo, and mahi mahi.

The Northeast Canyons are also one of the few places to target swordfish during the daytime using the deep-drop tactic. We drop a 10 lb weight down 1,500+ ft to reach swordfish where they rest during daylight hours. This niche fishery is an unforgettable experience for anglers looking to learn the technique or experience it for the first time.

These runs are highly dependent on weather and fish migration. We only venture offshore when conditions provide a reasonable expectation of safe, productive fishing, ensuring every trip is both thrilling and worthwhile.

Cape Cod Jig and Pop Tuna

When the bite isn’t happening in Rhode Island, we offer trips to Cape Cod to target bluefin tuna in nearshore waters.

These trips provide the opportunity to see whales, sharks, and other marine life feeding in the area, adding to the overall experience. Bluefin tuna are challenging to locate and land, and these trips are best suited for anglers prepared for a focused, patient offshore adventure.

Using a network of Jig & Pop style captains, we track actively feeding fish to improve your chances of a successful day. These trips are flexible in timing, allowing us to fish whenever conditions and fish activity are favorable.
